A Wellness Pavilion That Blooms With the Hills
This 5,000 m² wellness center is part of a mountain resort complex, carefully embedded into the natural slope. The building doesn’t oppose the landscape—it follows it, echoes it, and at times disappears into it. Its silhouette flows like the hills it rests on. Its terraces open to the sun. Its layout embraces both solitude and spaciousness.
This is wellness designed not as a statement—but as a presence.
Rooted in Terrain, Guided by Function
Shaped by its surroundings and defined by purpose, the architecture grows from two foundations:
integration with nature and clarity of function.
The program unfolds like petals—four zones, each distinct yet connected:
Entrance lobby and changing rooms
Treatment area
Aquathermal zone
Outdoor terrace with a panoramic pool
Each “petal” has its own scale, degree of privacy, and relationship to the sun. Together, they form a soft, organic geometry that opens gently to the landscape—never asserting, always receiving.
Not by accident, the shape echoes the maralnik flower, which covers these hills in violet and pink each spring. Here, nature is not the backdrop—it is the origin of form.
Key Features and Architectural Elements
Functional petals — each block has its own geometry and elevation, tuned to its use
Solar orientation — southern facades and solariums optimize warmth and light
Soft lamellae — curved facade elements filter midday sun and create delicate shadow play
Limestone plaster — light tones and tactile textures that shift from day to night
Subtle lighting petals — discreet pink illumination turns the structure into a soft bloom after dusk
Atmosphere That Doesn’t Interrupt, Only Supports
This is not a monument. Not a landmark. It is a calm architectural gesture—an embrace rather than an exclamation.
The transitions are smooth: from entrance to view, from enclosure to openness.
The palette is quiet. The materials—warm to the touch.
Nothing shouts. Everything rests.
By day: a rhythm of light and shadow.
By night: a soft pink glow, barely perceptible—like a flower opening in the dark.
The building doesn’t demand attention.
It creates a state.
Strategic Value for the Resort
This is architecture as inclusion, not display.
Every decision serves the feeling of belonging—to the place, to oneself, to the moment.
It’s a wellness center that doesn’t just enhance the resort.
It defines its philosophy.
A natural extension of the terrain
Architecture that enhances guest experience without overtaking it
Aesthetic integrity rooted in purpose, not decoration
Strong visual identity through restraint, not noise
