This SPA in a 5-star business hotel is a reconstruction project that transformed 300 m² of basement-level technical space into an elegant and cohesive thermal zone—seamlessly integrated into the infrastructure of an operating hotel.

Working within architectural and engineering constraints, the project required non-standard, bold solutions. The result is a compact, highly functional environment that supports deep recovery between meetings, flights, and evening events. It is used exclusively by hotel guests and operates as a hidden retreat within the pace of urban business travel.

Key Features and Experiences

Every detail was designed for maximum effect with minimal construction disruption:

• Stainless steel vitality pool – installed without concrete works, reducing build time and fitting seamlessly into hotel operations

• Infrared sauna – gentle, effective heat without cardiovascular strain

• Aroma steam room – rich in steam and infused with essential oils to support breathing and mental clarity

• Relaxation area – ambient and intimate, with perforated partitions that create privacy within a limited footprint

• Two multifunctional treatment rooms – suitable for massages, rituals, and cosmetology

Design That Solves and Supports

The visual language is dark and saturated, evoking an artificial night that helps the body slow down after the overload of city life. Materials are matte, textured, and absorb excess light. Decorative lighting offers orientation and softness. Perforated screens and furnishings create rhythm without enclosure, and deep accent colours—steel, blue, and wood—anchor guests in a mood they don’t want to leave.

Every material was selected for its durability, fire resistance, and hygiene—meeting the high demands of a functioning hotel.
